Ingleside Taxes

Businesses in Ingleside benefit from low tax rates. The state of Texas does not levy a corporate or personal income tax. In addition, San Patricio County does not have a local sales tax, creating an additional cost savings.

This tax savings provides benefits beyond the obvious. When businesses move to Ingleside from states with an income tax, relocating employees immediately realize this savings and essentially get a ‘raise’ without it costing the company anything extra.

Property Taxes

Property taxes attach as an enforceable lien on property as of January 1st. Property taxes are levied on October 1 based on 100% of appraised value of property as listed on the previous January 1.

Appraised values are:

  • Determined by the San Patricio County Appraisal District
  • Approved by the San Patricio County Appraisal Review Board
  • Certified by the Chief Appraiser

Property taxes are due upon receipt of the tax bill and are delinquent if not paid before February of the year following the year in which imposed. The City does not offer a discount for early payment of taxes. The City’s taxes are billed and collected by the San Patricio County Tax Office located at 400 West Sinton, Sinton, Texas 78387.
